Règles de base pour le lot et le monument de la Filiale
1. Camarade inhumé à l’intérieur du lot de la Filiale
- Le/la camarade doit avoir été libéré honorablement des Forces armées canadiennes, de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada, avoir été libéré honorablement des Forces armées d’un pays allié du Canada ou avoir été membre de la Légion royale canadienne pendant un minimum de 12 années sans réprimande à son dossier;
- L’espace disponible ne permet que l’inhumation d’une urne;
- Le choix de l’emplacement à l’intérieur du lot est au bon vouloir de la Filiale;
- Les membres de la famille d’un/une camarade ne sont pas éligibles par lien familiaux à être inhumés à l’intérieur du lot de la Filiale a moins de se conformer eux-mêmes aux présents critères;
- Les frais d’inhumation et de gravure sur le monument sont à la charge de la succession du camarade;
- Toutes les gravures sur le monument doivent être en conformité avec les critères établis par la Filiale et seront commandées par cette dernière.
Basic rules for the lot and the monument of the Branch
1. Comrade Buried Within the Branch Plot
- The comrade must have been honorably discharged from the Canadian Armed Forces, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, from the Armed Forces of a country allied with Canada, or have been a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for a minimum of 12 years without a reprimand on their record;
- The available space only allows for the burial of an urn;
- The choice of location within the plot is at the discretion of the Branch;
- Family members of a comrade are not eligible by family ties to be buried within the Branch plot unless they themselves meet these criteria;
- The costs of burial and engraving on the monument are the responsibility of the comrade’s estate;
- All engravings on the monument must comply with the criteria established by the Branch and will be commissioned by the latter.
2. Critères d’inscriptions sur le monument de la Filiale
- Seule la Filiale peut ordonner une inscription sur le monument;
- Les inscriptions seront sur deux lignes;
- Les inscriptions auront une hauteur spécifique
- Le choix de la police sur les inscriptions sera fait par la Filiale;
- Un code QR sera apposé au monument de la Filiale et dirigera les visiteurs vers le site internet de la Filiale;
- Une page sur le site internet de la Filiale sera aménagé afin de produire le plan du cimetière Saint-Odilon de Montmagny, une liste des camarades inhumés hors du lot de la Filiale ainsi que l’adresse du lot ou ceux-ci sont inhumés;
- Une page sur le site internet de la Filiale sera aménagée afin de produire une liste des camarades originaires de la région de Montmagny ainsi que leurs lieux de sépulture hors du cimetière Saint-Odilon.
2. Criteria for Inscriptions on the Branch Monument
- Only the Branch can order an inscription on the monument;
- Inscriptions will be on two lines;
- Inscriptions will have a specific height;
- The Branch will choose the font for the inscriptions;
- A QR code will be affixed to the Branch monument and will direct visitors to the Branch website;
- A page on the Branch website will be created to display a map of the Saint-Odilon Cemetery in Montmagny, a list of comrades buried outside the Branch plot, and the address of the plot where they are buried;
- A page on the Branch website will be created to display a list of comrades from the Montmagny region and their burial locations outside the Saint-Odilon Cemetery.
